Signs & Symptoms:

No sweating, dry, hot, red skin, dizziness & headache, pinpoint pupils, vomiting, unconsciousness

Prevention:

Drink enough water, no caffeine, cool showering, wear light protective clothing, do not stay in a closed car, and limit outdoor time

Do Not:

APPROACH WILDLIFE

FEED ANY ANIMALS

PET FAWNS/BABY JAVELINAS

Be Aware of Your Surroundings:

WALK ON SIDEWALKS DUE TO RECENT SIGHTING OF SNAKES IN GRASS

• Charge Safely: Use manufacturer's chargers, never charge damaged or overheating batteries, and unplug when fully charged. 

• Keep Device Out of Building: Do NOT use, store, or charge electric mobility devices inside campus buildings.

• Keep Exits Clear: Do not charge near exits, emergency routes, doors, stairwells, hallways or near fire equipment. Park devices in safe areas.

• SEE Something Wrong?: If the battery is smoking, unusually hot, or making a strange noise, stop use and move away.

• When in Doubt: Stop. Move Away. Report It.
