Following is a suggested four-year  degree plan. Students are encouraged to see their advisor each semester for  help with program decisions and enrollment; responsible for reviewing the Program  of Study Requirements; responsible for  meeting all course prerequisites; and must meet foreign  language and writing intensive course requirements for graduation. 1Foreign language, 6 SCH in course work from a second romance language – Latin, Italian,  French or Portuguese.

            elective, select 3 SCH from any math course above the level of College 
Algebra.
3Students  must apply for admission to the College of Education while enrolled in EDCI 3324
  4Spanish
  literature, select from SPAN 3321 or 3322.
  5Spanish
  American literature, select from SPAN 3323 or 3326.
  6Spanish
linguistics, select 3 SCH from SPAN 3317 or 4312.
7Students  are admitted to student teaching only after passing the certification exam to  teach secondary Spanish.
