TIL 5313

Customs Broker License Test Preparation.

Three semester hours.

An in-depth study of the Customs laws and Regulations to include the customs broker regulations, entry filing and customs declarations, other governmental agency filing requirements, tariff and duties, and free trade agreements. The course will require an engagement in team projects to determine applicable customs classification processes and duty referral programs for different product and importing scenarios. Three practice exams will be included in the course to prepare for the customs broker exam. Prerequisites: 3 years' experience in Customs Broker office or successful completion of TIL 5311Course or Consent of Instructor
