Department of Mathematics and Physics

The Department of Mathematics and Physics, TAMIU, was pleased to host the 9th Coastal Bend Mathematics and Statistics Conference (9th CBMSC) on Saturday, April 5th, 2025. The Coastal Bend Mathematics and Statistics Conference is one of the most important gatherings of students, teachers, and industry professionals from the Coastal Bend community in South Texas. It provides a leading forum for disseminating both theoretical and applied research in mathematics, statistics, and related areas. We were grateful for this opportunity for us to advertise our mathematics and statistics programs and to showcase our beautiful campus to educators, researchers, and students from Texas and all over the world. This conference welcomed presentations in all fields of mathematics and statistics.

This conference was sponsored by the College of Arts and Sciences at Texas A&M International University. Registration was free for faculty and students. A complimentary breakfast, lunch, and refreshment were provided. Breakfast and registration began at 8 a.m. in the Student Center Ballroom (2nd floor).

The Conference Organizing Committee and the Department of Mathematics and Physics enthusiastically welcomed attendees to Texas A&M International University.
