Dance

Seeking choreographers of any dance genre to present their work at the Fine Arts Festival at Texas A&M International University.

Application Requirements: 

• Applicants should have at least two years of professional experience creating or performing in their genre or be professionally oriented towards it.
• Solo or group works are acceptable. 
• While any dance genre will be considered, practitioners who are working from a contemporary perspective in their field will be given priority. 
• Proposed dance works should be between 5 and 10 minutes in length. 
• Original works only.
• Works can be excerpts of larger pieces or complete works within the required time limits. 
• World premieres or repertory works are acceptable.
• A video of the proposed work or if the work proposed will be a premiere, a video of a work that best demonstrates your current choreographic practice. Performance footage is preferable, but studio footage is also acceptable. Please upload a link (YouTube, Vimeo, or online portfolio) to your work. Please include cuing instructions if applicable.
• A bio of either you or your company/collective/ensemble.
