TAMIU MSEIP STEM and Robotics Day

About

TAMIU MSEIP STEM and Robotics Day will provide school students the opportunity to participate in a one-day workshop at TAMIU where they can learn more about STEM and engineering field. This activity of this program is to ignite participants' interest in engineering as a potential career, provide age-appropriate instruction in physics, mathematics and engineering principles in a fund robotics build-up and competition.

This program will be conducted by experienced TAMIU faculty, engineering students who will serve as instructors and mentors. Teamwork will be emphasized while designing, assembling, and programming the functional robots and participated in a competition.

The workshop will feature local site visits, such as the TAMIU Planetarium and the School of Engineering Robotics lab and 3D printing facilities.
