This summer, Luis Díaz-García, a TRIO STEM participant, student mentor and Biology major, was accepted into the UT Health Houston – Summer 2025 Innovation in Cancer Prevention Research Experience for Undergraduates at UTHealth Houston.

The internship affords students the opportunity to help trainees ask important research questions while applying cutting-edge methods to stimulate innovative thinking to their projects.
