Hardware Specifications

PC Refresh

All computer purchases, including grants, must be acquired during the refresh cycle. The University bundles computer purchases to take advantage of bulk discounts and secure substantial savings. All grants and start-up research computing equipment requests must obtain an OIT-approved quote and will be requisitioned through their respective departments. Purchases of computing equipment outside of refresh cycles are no longer allowed.

All requests must be coordinated and placed by Division budget administrators (Deans/Provost/Vice Presidents). Please submit your requests to your appropriate budget administrator. Requests cannot be directly submitted to OIT.
