TAMIU Summer Programs (Hosted by the Office of Outreach & Pre-College Programs)

The Office of Outreach and Pre-College Programs is excited to provide the following summer programs that are available for elementary school and middle school students. Contact information for each summer program is available below for more details.

  • 3D Design and Print Summer Program - High School
    • Join the Department of Engineering and the Office of Outreach & Pre-College Programs in a 5-day 3D Printing Summer Program. Students will learn basic 3D printing skills and take home a 3D printer at the end of the program.
    • Dates: July 11th - July 15th
    • Price: $260 per student

  • Engineering Program - Middle School and High School
    • Join the Department of Engineering and the Office of Outreach & Pre-College Programs in a 5-day workshop that will inspire students to learn, think creatively, collaborate, and solve problems in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics.
    • Dates: July 4-8, 2022 (9 am to 5 pm)

  • Math Enrichment Program - High School
    • Join the Department of Engineering and the Office of Outreach & Pre-College Programs in a 5-day workshop that will enhance students' abilities to develop connections between mathematics and science. Covered topics include: Algebra, Trigonometry, Calculus 1/2/3, and Ordinary Differential Equations.
    • Dates: July 18th - July 22nd

  • Youth Nursing Summer Camp - For ages 10 to 14
    • Join the Office of Outreach & Pre-College Programs and the College of Nursing & Health Sciences for a full day of nursing basics & activities! 
    • Free admission
    • Free lunch provided
    • Date: July 5th

TAMIU Campus Visits

The Office of Outreach and Pre-College Programs can provide campus visits to students in elementary and middle school. Each campus visit is customized based on the requests of the group. The following activities are made available for a truly interactive experience:
