As part of TAMIU’s mission to provide professional growth opportunities to faculty, we have recently obtained an Institutional Membership to the National Center for Faculty Development and Diversity (NCFDD).
The NCFDD is an independent professional development, training, and mentoring community of faculty, postdocs, and graduate students from over 450 colleges and universities. In addition to the resources available to you as an Institutional Member, the Center also offers professional development training and intensive mentoring programs.

Activate your TAMIU ncfdd membership
- Go to https://www.ncfdd.org/join
- Under “Select Your Institution,” choose “Texas A&M International University”.
- Select “Activate my Membership”.
- Complete the registration form using your TAMIU email address.
- Check your TAMIU email account to find a confirmation/welcome email. Click “Activate Account” in the email.

Building a Publishing Pipeline: Strategies for Writing Productivity
This workshop is designed to help faculty establish sustainable writing practices, track multiple projects effectively, and keep research moving steadily toward publication. Participants will learn how to:
- Build a consistent daily writing routine.
- Use tracking tools to focus efforts where they matter most.
- Develop actionable plans for advancing several projects at once.
- Celebrate progress as work moves through each stage of the publishing process.
Led by tenured faculty facilitators, this workshop provides practical strategies to boost productivity and motivation in academic writing.

support, and renewed momentum. Together, we'll explore common challenges, uncover obstacles, and

personalized diagnostic plan, and access to an extended support network—including a 30-day NCFDD
membership for non-members.
