ACUE

The Texas A&M University System and Association of College and University Educators (ACUE) have partnered to prepare and credential faculty to teach with practices proven to improve student achievement and close equity gaps. This nationally recognized program offers premier courses, pathways, and certifications designed to enhance student success.

The collaboration provides faculty the opportunity to participate in the highest-quality online faculty development experiences that lead to the only nationally recognized collegiate teaching credential (endorsed by ACE, the American Council on Education). A variety of course offerings are available to faculty across the A&M System. These include 25-week courses in Effective Teaching Practices and a number of 6-8-week stackable short courses. To date, six TAMIU cohorts have completed the program, with more than 90 faculty and staff certified. Each year, TAMIU proudly recognizes faculty and staff who earn the ACUE Certification in Effective Teaching Practices from the Association of College and University Educators.
