The Academic Center for Excellence (ACE) provides TAMIU students with FREE support services, such as tutoring and mentoring, both of which are necessary for a successful academic career.

ACE is committed to helping students succeed in their studies and overall development.

Tutoring

Visit our tutors for assistance on a variety of subjects, including writing, research papers, mathematics, chemistry, biology, history, and others.

Supplemental Instruction

Join peer-led Supplemental Instruction (SI) sessions to enrich your classroom learning.

Mentoring

Freshmen can use our Mentoring services for guidance and successfully transitioning to university life.

Learning Support Specialists (LSS)

Assist students in improving foundational Math and English skills through individualized instruction and tutoring to prepare them for college-level coursework.
