Math Learning Support Specialists
Math Learning Support Specialist (LSS) specializes in developmental Math courses. They work with students who may struggle with Math concepts by offering individualized instruction, tutoring, and targeted practice.
By identifying specific areas of difficulty and using tailored strategies, they support students in gaining confidence and competence in their foundational Math skills, ultimately helping them prepare for college-level coursework and reach their educational goals.
Math LSS also host a Math 1314 Marathon at the end of the semester. This event provides students with an extended study session and tutoring support to help them prepare for their College Algebra final exam.
