TAMIU Student Researchers Get Third,
Top Awards at A&M System Conference
In strong evidence of its commitment to student
research as part of its educational mission,TAMIU students
garnered 14 awards and placed third overall in The Texas
A&M University System’s 12th Annual Pathways Student
Research Symposium at Texas A&M University-Corpus
Christi.
Symposium participation offers TAMIU students
important research experiences. The 73 students traveled
by bus. Participation in the Pathways Conference is linked
toTAMIU’s Quality Enhancement Plan, focused on Applied
Critical Thinking as Expressed Through Undergraduate
Research (ACT on IDEAS).
