Accessibility Statements of Course Technologies

The Texas A&M University System members must follow this guide to meet digital accessibility requirements under federal and state rules. At Texas A&M International University (TAMIU), instructors may use different technologies in their courses. The list below shows technologies that may appear in TAMIU classes.

Instructors must tell students which technologies will be used in their courses. They should include links to accessibility statements, Voluntary Product Accessibility Template (VPAT) documents, and/or Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) statements in the syllabus or course materials. This can be done by:

  1. Adding direct links to these statements, or
  2. Linking to this page for the most current information.

If you notice a missing accessibility statement or find an error, please contact Instructional Technology and Distance Education Services at elearning@tamiu.edu and share the correct link.
