The Fulbright Program is an international academic exchange program that began in 1946 with an ambitious goal — to help people from the United States and other countries better understand each other and build friendships that promote peace. Today, the U.S. government works with over 160 countries to offer a wide range of fellowships and scholarships for study, research, and teaching around the world.

TAMIU Students

The Fulbright U.S. Student Program helps students grow academically, professionally, and culturally. It builds connections between people in today’s complex and changing world. Working with over 140 countries, Fulbright offers unique opportunities in every academic field for talented and motivated graduating seniors, graduate students, and young professionals from all backgrounds. Participants can study for a graduate degree, conduct research, or teach English in another country.
