To understand the difference between our programs, we highly encourage students to attend an information session. Below you will find the list of our Exchange, Affiliate and Faculty-Led Programs.

To apply for a study abroad program, schedule an appointment with an International Student Advisor.

ISEP

With over 100 institutions participating in the Exchange programs around the world, and around 60 institutions available via ISEP Direct.

ISEP EXCHANGE

You enroll at a partner university through ISEP; you pay tuition and fees to your home institution (TAMIU).

ISEP DIRECT

You enroll directly at a host university (an ISEP-member institution), paying the tuition/fees defined by the host or via ISEP Direct structures.

AIFS Abroad

Academic Programs International (API)

Disciplines: Check for courses with API

Scholarships: API scholarships ranging between $250 and $1,000.


Council of International Educational Exchange (CIEE)

Disciplines: Check for courses with CIEE.

Scholarships: CIEE offers scholarships vary depending on program length and availability.


Cultural Experiences Abroad (CEA)

Scholarships: CEA Chris Towns France Scholarship, CEA Spanish Language Scholarship, CEA Studio Arts Scholarship, CEA Fashion Design Scholarship, and the CEA Sciences Scholarship


International Studies Abroad (ISA)

Disciplines: Check for courses with ISA

Scholarships: ISA scholarships ranging between $1,000 and $2,500


To apply to any of these programs, visit our study abroad application software (TerraDotta). Type the program you selected on the search bar and click on "Apply Now". Once you do this, TerraDotta will ask you to log in. Please log in using your UConnect credentials.

*Note: Students must submit an application in order to be considered for the program. A non-refundable $200 application fee will be assessed to students after the application deadline. Students who wish to withdraw from the program must submit an official Program Withdrawal in order to no longer be considered.

In order to avoid getting the $200 application fee assessed, students are responsible of withdrawing before application deadline by submitting the Program Withdrawal Form.

Students are subject to program cancellation fees according to drop deadlines. It is a student's responsibility to withdraw from a program for which they have started an application. Only Program Withdrawal forms may be accepted as cancellation notice to IE. NO VERBAL APPLICATION CANCELLATIONS ARE ACCEPTED FROM STUDENTS AT ANYTIME.

Students are highly encouraged to attend an information session by International Experiences before applying to any study abroad program.

The Study Abroad Application fee will be available to pay after application deadline through Uconnect.
