Big Interview is a free interview preparation platform available to Texas A&M International University students and alumni. The platform helps build your interview skills, practice responses through interactive AI-mock interview.

Follow the steps below to create your account and begin practicing for internships, part-time jobs, and full-time positions.

Step 1:

Visit Big Interview and Register in the upper-right corner to create your account.

To register:

• Enter your TAMIU email address
• Create a password as instructed
• Verify your email, if promoted

Step 2:

Access Practice Sets, which are curated, interactive mock-interview scenarios. You will have the opportunity to record your responses and practice to help you build confidence and get ready for your interview.

Big Interview offers practice interviews tailored to different career goals, including:

• General interviews
• Internship interviews
• Behavioral interviews
• Industry-specific interviews
• Career fair preparation

Select the category that best matches your needs.

Step 3:

Practice Internships Interview Questions

• Scroll down the main page to the Interview section
• Choose a difficulty level:
  • Standard
  • Challenging
  • Tough
• Click Practice With to begin a mock interview

Step 4:

Record Your Responses

During the mock interview:

1. Read or listen to the interview question
2. Click Record Answer
3. Respond as if you were in a real interview
4. Review your recording after completing the question

Tip: Dress professionally and practice in a quiet environment for the most realistic experience

Step 5:

Review Tips and Sample Answers

After each question, select View Tips & Answers to:

• Learn what employers are looking for
• Review sample responses
• Improve your interview techniques
• Strengthen your confidence before real interviews

Tip: The more you practice, the more comfortable you will become. Try practicing:

• 10-15 minutes per week
• Before career fairs
• Before internship interviews
• Before full-time job interviews
