TAMIU Financial Aid Welcomes Fall Students with Enhanced Services
This Fall, Texas A&M International University's (TAMIU) Office of Financial Aid welcomes students with enhanced services designed to support their higher education needs.
TAMIU has so far awarded over $36 million in financial aid to students attending TAMIU this Fall and funds are still available for qualified students who wish to apply, said Financial Aid associate director Ociel Vázquez.
Financial aid applications can be filed through the FAFSA website at: https://studentaid.gov/
“A universe of scholarships is available to TAMIU students in the palm of their hands through ‘TAMIU Fund$Finder,’ a free search tool they can access with their smartphone. Through Fund$Finder, students can access thousands of relevant scholarships they qualify for from their phone or desktop,” Vázquez said.
Students need only visit go.tamiu.edu/fundSfinder and follow three easy steps. Find out more about TAMIU Fund$Finder.
“Also, to assist students and families navigate the complexities of understanding the financial aid process, TAMIU's team of dedicated financial aid advisors is on hand to answer detailed questions through in-person or online appointments,” Vázquez explained.

As a result of actions taken by the Texas Legislature to address affordability in higher education, all resident undergraduate academic costs, including tuition, mandatory academic fees, all academic-related general fees, and college course fees, have been frozen for the 2023-24 and 2024-25 academic years at TAMIU. The University has not raised tuition and fees since 2021.

Classes begin Monday, Aug. 28, 2023. Late registration ends Friday, Sept. 1.
