TAMIU Staff Senate is comprised of elected officers and University staff employees. The purpose of the Staff Senate is to:
- examine and communicate matters affecting all full-time staff, their quality of life, and their employment
- act as an advocate for all full-time staff
- formulate recommendations to the University Administration
