Submission to certify your attendance at Texas A&M International University
The purpose of the Hazlewood Exemption (Hazlewood Act) is to provide an education benefit to honorably discharged or separated Texas veterans and to eligible dependent children and spouses of Texas veterans.
The benefit may not be used for correspondence courses unless the courses are part of the student's degree plan.
Please note: Your Hazlewood Exemption file must be completed by the Official Census Date (12th class day during Fall/Spring and 4th class day during Summer) as published in the University Calendar in order for the Hazlewood Waiver to be invoked for that semester. When all items are received in the Veterans Affairs Office, your application will be reviewed by the Veteran Affair Coordinator for approval.
The student service fee must be paid when tuition and fees are due to avoid any other charges.
