If the student is exhibiting behaviors that suggest he or she might harm himself or herself or anyone else, or if you feel threatened by the individual.

Call 956.326.2911 (TAMIU Police Department Emergency line) immediately.
Or
Call 911 (Local Dispatch Center) immediately.

If the student needs support but is not exhibiting behaviors that suggest imminent self or other-directed harm, and you do not feel threatened.
↓
Call 956.326.2230 and press 3 to speak with a crisis counselor directly. Do not leave the student alone.
Or
Ask what the student needs and, if they consent, contact or refer them to the following resources (consult the table below).
