An Afternoon of Poetry
The Office of Global Initiatives welcomed the incredible Raquel Valle Sentíes, Laredo Poet Laureate, for an intimate afternoon of poetry and reflection. Raquel shared with us the Third Edition of her powerful book “Soy como soy y qué”, capturing hearts with her words, presence, and passion.
The audience was deeply engaged — not just listening, but connecting. Many shared moving stories about how Raquel’s poems have touched their lives, revealing the deep personal ties between the author and her readers.
