Volunteers must be approved by supervising department. Hours must be submitted to Continuing Education upon completion. Certificates and log of hours will be kept with Continuing Education. Certificate requests require a two week notice to produce.

Note: Volunteers cannot begin service, or receive hour tracking sheets unless they have been cleared by the UPD and CE. The process for clearing a Criminal Background check takes at a minimum 48 hours; this does not mean tehy have cleared within 48 hours. Department is responsible for checking with CE. When you send volunteers to fill out paperwork, make sure they are aware of what camp they will be volunteering at.
