About Us

Texas A&M International University (TAMIU) is a part of the The Texas A&M University System. The Office of Continuing Education supports our school mission by providing opportunities for certificates, licenses, and enrichment through courses offered by learning partners.

Our courses empower individuals, organizations and communities to enhance careers, lives and social development, provide quality, value-added, solutions-based programs that fulfill the needs of our learners.  Many of our courses offer the chance to start a new career or add new skills to a professional toolbox, while learning from the comfort of your home or learning a new skill while working.

The Office of Continuing Education also provides youth outreach and education through our Dusty’s Junior University Summer Camp as well as prep/enrichment classes for students.  OCE also shares our knowledge and resources to support pre-K–12 students across Texas.

To expand the University’s reach throughout the world, the TAMIU Office of Continuing Education (OCE) creates innovative, accessible lifelong learning opportunities that support individual, organizational and community development through educational programming, consulting and applied research.

OUR Commitment
Prioritizing the Community

TAMIU is — and always has been — a University for the community.  Since the beginning, the Office of Continuing Education (OCE) has been committed to public service, and we remain focused on our goal to effect positive change in the community, the state, the nation and the world.

Whether we're teaming up with local organizations to tackle health care issues, bringing the arts to under-served areas, providing college readiness support, or collaborating with statewide and national groups to solve environmental problems, OCE has a rich tradition of partnership-building with organizations and community members, all in an effort to promote access, equity, and social justice.
