Sun Bright Icon Dusty's Jr. University Summer Camp 2025
Education is important to every chapter of life--especially in childhood.
- Dusty's Junior University summer camp is proud to be a pioneer in the community for exposing overachieving and curious young children to University Life and nurturing their passion for knowledge.
- Camp members work closely with our University's faculty and staff to cultivate their academic skills through fun, engaging projects where they'll mingle amongst each other and form new friendships.
- Dusty's Junior University offers four distinct sessions tailored to your child's need. Browse the camp sessions below to find the right fit for your little achiever.
Kinder 5th Grade (5 - 10 Years Old)
Geared towards nurturing growing children's creativity, knowledge, and social interactions, camp members can expect to participate in fun artistic classes, hands-on STEAM projects, and engaging group activities. Lunch will be provided by Armark Dusty's Diner Buffet style.

Baseball Icon Dustdevil Baseball Prospect Camp
One-Day Camp
Ages: 15 - 25
Join us for our Dustdevil Baseball Prospect Camp, designed for athletes looking to showcase their skills in front of college coaches. This Camp provides an opportunity to be evaluated on all aspects of the game—hitting, fielding, pitching, and base running—through a series of drills and scrimmages. Gain exposure, receive feedback, and experience the intensity of a college-level baseball environment. Open to all High School players serious about taking their game to the next level.
The Dustdevil Baseball Prospect Camp is a showcase event designed for serious players looking to take their game to the collegiate level. Hosted by the TAMIU Dustdevils Coaching Staff, this Camp offers a unique opportunity to train and be evaluated in a competitive, college-style environment.
Campers will participate in a pro-style workout that includes:
- 60-yard dash to assess speed and agility
- Defensive skill evaluations for infielders, outfielders, and catchers—highlighting footwork, glove work, transfer speed, and arm strength
- Batting practice with live pitching and exit velocity tracking
- Pitcher bullpens to assess velocity, movement, and mechanics
- Simulated games to demonstrate in-game performance, instincts, and communication
Each participant will receive instruction and feedback from the TAMIU Dustdevil Coaching Staff and current Dustdevil players, offering valuable insight into what it takes to compete at the NCAA Division II level. This is an excellent opportunity to showcase your skills, connect with our coaching team, and experience the culture of Dustdevil Baseball!

Safety Notice:
This camp follows all guidelines under The Texas A&M University System’s Program for Minors policy to ensure the safety and well-being of all participants. Staff are trained and background-checked, and emergency protocols will be in place.

Refund/Cancellation Policy
The Office of Continuing Education provides refunds for classes that are canceled or not attended by the student (withdrawal). If your class was canceled you will be reimbursed one hundred percent (100%). If you did not attend the course and would like a refund refer to our *Withdrawal Policy.* Payments received via credit/debit/ATM card will be processed for refund within twenty four (24) hours. Your bank may take up to five days to process the refund. Payments received via cash or check require the following documents to be completed and submitted to our office, W9 Form (Required) and the Vendor Direct Deposit (Optional) for payment processing. The refund process can take anywhere from 2 weeks to a month from the date documents were received.
Withdrawal Policy
Students may drop the course with a non-refundable 10% administrative fee if written notice is given to The Office of Continuing Education by email at ce@tamiu.edu ten (10) days before class begins; otherwise, full payment for course must be submitted.
