Refund Policy – Office of Continuing Education
The Office of Continuing Education is committed to providing clear and timely refund processing for our students.
Class Cancellations
If a class is canceled by our office, students will automatically receive a 100% refund.
Student Withdrawals
Students who do not attend a course and wish to request a refund must follow the procedures outlined in our Withdrawal Policy.
Refunds for Credit/Debit/ATM Card Payments
Refunds for payments made by credit, debit, or ATM card are processed within 24 hours of approval. Please note that your financial institution may require up to five (5) business days to complete the transaction.
Refunds for Cash or Check Payments
Refunds for payments made by cash or check require the submission of the following documents:
Once all required documents have been received, refund processing may take 2 to 4 weeks.

Withdrawal Policy
Students may withdraw from a course by submitting written notice to the Office of Continuing Education at ce@tamiu.edu no later than ten (10) days prior to the start of the class.
Withdrawals meeting this deadline will incur a non-refundable 10% administrative fee.
Requests received fewer than ten (10) days before the class begins are not eligible for a refund, and full payment for the course is required.
