The Hooding and Student Success Ceremony will take place on December 11, 2019 at the Fine and Performing Arts Recital Hall at 2:00 PM, and will consist of the following parts:
We will celebrate our students graduating from Master’s programs by presenting them with their Master’s Hoods. Master’s students will be asked to prepare a small statement of 75 words to be read by our reader when they are on stage.
We will recognize our undergraduate students graduating with honors (successfully completing their degree with a G.P.A. of 3.5 or higher), by presenting them with their Honor Cords to wear at graduation with their regalia, and
Celebrate all of our undergraduate rising professionals who have successfully reached the milestone of graduation and passed their certification exams by presenting them with a blue stole to wear at graduation with their regalia.
We will present the 2019 We Teach Laredo Medal recipients represent the first 25 undergraduate candidates who passed their required certification exams first time, on time.
