| Description of Incident: | On April 11, 2026, a report was submitted to Texas A&M International University that indicated the Alpha Tau Chapter of Omega Delta Phi Fraternity may have violated the Leader Student Organization Handbook and TAMIU Student Code of Conduct’s prohibition against hazing. According to the report, during the new member education process, new members were required to complete menial tasks and a scavenger hunt. Additionally, there were allegations of alcohol abuse, physical assault and new member educational activities occurring after midnight. |

| Findings: | The Alpha Tau Chapter of Omega Delta Phi was found responsible for hazing. The hazing activities included requiring new members (NMs) to complete embarrassing and/or demeaning tasks not in line with Chapter’s mission, values nor approved National Headquarters educational processes. |
| Sanctions, Conditions, and/or Restrictions: | No Spring 2026 New Member Presentation; Prohibition of Prospective New Member Class for Fall 2026; Mandatory attendance of at least 80% of all members at the Greek Leadership Retreat in Spring 2027; Hazing Prevention Education policy to be created (if one not in existence) by December 31, 2026; Hazing Prevention training for all members by May 31, 2026. All aspects must be approved by Director, SOLE; National HQ Hazing Prevention training for all members by May 31, 2026; Chapter to host an annual educational workshop on Hazing Prevention for the TAMIU Community until May 2030; All aspects must be approved by Director, SOLE. |
