All new international students are required to check-in and attend International Student Dusty Camp.

At the event you will have the opportunity to listen to individuals representing the Department of Homeland Security, essential services available to students, and meet current University students. Be sure to make travel plans that will allow you to arrive a day or two early, so that you can take care of essential shopping needs, and get some rest prior to the orientation.

Over the next four years, you and your student will experience a journey unlike any other. As your Dustdevil begins their studies at TAMIU, we understand it will be a significant change for you and your family. We are committed to helping your student succeed and want to collaborate with you to ensure a smooth transition and a successful college experience for your student. This year, our Parent and Family Orientation will be in person.
