Equipment for Checkout
- Document Cameras
- Presentation Clickers
- Webcams
- Wired Headsets (headphones and microphone)
Checkout procedures are in place to ensure faculty have the necessary equipment and software applications to deliver instruction at a distance. Lecture-capture, podcast, and vodcast services are available for faculty members who wish to pre-record their lectures and upload them to their course shells.
Inventory for distance education equipment is conducted annually between February and March. Instructional technology staff are responsible for maintaining and tracking every piece of equipment. Checkout forms are reconciled periodically against inventory, and obsolete equipment is identified and removed from our logs. Equipment is replaced according to the university’s refresh plan or earlier if an upgrade is deemed necessary.
